APLK: Hot Cocoa Waffles

Hot Cocoa Waffles

Serves 3-4

Author note: The ratio for waffle mixture to hot cocoa powder is 1 cup to 1 1/2 cups. Adjust recipe accordingly.

Ingredients:

1 cup waffle mix

1 ½ cups of instant hot cocoa

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

canola oil spray

marshmallows, for topping

syrup, for topping

Instructions:

Heat the waffle iron.

Follow the instructions per the waffle mix you have chosen to use. Add the instant hot cocoa mix and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.

Pour the batter into the waffle maker. Cook to preferred doneness. Top with marshmallows and syrup.
