Tacos are a staple for us here in texas and adding fun twists are always a must. Especially when they come in the form of time-saving hacks
INGREDIENTS
1 lb. Shrimp
1 tsp. Chili Powder
1 tsp. Garlic Powder
½ tsp. Onion Powder
½ tsp. Black Pepper
1 Lime
1 tsp. Honey
1 Medium Avocado
¼ Bunch Cilantro
8 Low-Carb Flour Tortillas
1 Southwest Salad Kit
Spray Avocado Oil
Salt and Pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
- In a bag place shrimp, all spices, lime juice and zest and honey and mix to combine
- Let marinate for 30 minutes up to overnight
- Soak skewers in water
- Skewer the shrimp
- Heat grill to medium high heat
- Grill shrimp skewers for about 3 minutes per side until the shrimp turn pink
- Grill corn for about 15-20 minutes, turning once desired color is reached
- Dice avocado in chunks
- Mince cilantro
- Mix the bagged salad kit together omitting the chip pieces
- Build your taco to your liking
